Summary here
A project template defines a standard structure for a recurring type of project — including a preset name pattern, assigned project type, output types, and default status. Templates remove the need to re-enter common settings each time a project of the same kind is created, reducing setup time and ensuring consistency across similar projects.
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Template Name | A descriptive label identifying what kind of project the template produces |
| Project Type | The category the generated project will belong to (must exist in Project Types) |
| Output Types | The default deliverable types attached to projects created from this template |
| Default Status | The initial status assigned when a project is created from the template |
Navigate to Admin → Project Management → Project Templates.
Deleting a template does not affect projects already created from it.
