FI Bases

FI Bases hold foundational finance records used when configuring a company for accounting activity. They should be reviewed before transaction-heavy areas such as cash management, direct entries, partner transactions, and statements are used.

Fields

FieldMeaning
CodeThe short identifier used to recognise the FI base in setup and reporting contexts.
NameThe display name shown to finance users.
CompanyThe company or entity the finance base belongs to.
CurrencyThe default or reporting currency associated with the base.
StatusIndicates whether the base is active and available for use.

HowTo

  1. Open Finance.
  2. Select Setup.
  3. Open FI Bases.
  4. Use the list filters to find an existing base.
  5. Create or update the record, then save it before configuring dependent finance settings.
