Items

Concept

The Items page works with item records in the Supply Chain Management module. It supports item, inventory, purchasing, sales, or activity workflows depending on the selected SCM area.

Fields

FieldMeaning
Item CodeUnique item code.
NameItem display name.
GroupItem group classification.
UnitDefault unit of measure.

HowTo

  1. Open SCM and choose Items from the Item Mgt area.
  2. Use filters or search to find the item, customer, vendor, transaction, or report record.
  3. Open the record to review quantities, values, dates, status, and linked documents.
  4. For editable workflows, choose New or Update, complete the required fields, and save.
  5. Confirm that stock, balances, prices, or transaction status now reflect the change.
